The Car Storage Software API gives a trusted system — your website, an inventory feed, an insurance export, or a custom integration — direct access to your facility’s records. Every request is scoped to one team by the API key it uses, and every key carries only the scopes you picked when you created it.

Base URL

All requests and responses use JSON. Timestamps are ISO 8601 strings, and IDs are UUIDs.

Quick start

1

Turn on the API and create a key

A team admin opens Settings → Integrations → API, turns it on, and clicks Create API key. Copy the key right away; the full secret is shown only once. The Connect the API guide walks through it with screenshots.
2

Make your first request

3

Explore the endpoints

Every endpoint in the sidebar has a playground. Paste your key under Authorization to send live requests against your own facility.

Guides

Authentication

Send your team API key and choose the scopes each integration needs.

Pagination and filtering

Page through lists and sync only the records that changed.

Car intake workflow

Log a drop-off and attach photos from another system.

Errors

Status codes and how to read validation details.
The sidebar covers every resource: cars, customers, contacts, locations, parking, appointments, communications, and marketing (campaigns, templates, social posts, forms, social events, and assets).

Using AI agents instead

If you want ChatGPT, Claude, or another AI assistant to work with your facility, you do not need to write code against this API. Use the MCP connector, which exposes the same endpoints as tools with OAuth sign-in.

OpenAPI specification

This reference is generated from the same schemas that validate every request, so field names, types, and required fields here always match the live API. Download the spec at /api-reference/openapi.json to generate a client in your language.
