Contracts

Send multiple contracts in one signing link

When one customer has several vehicles, bundle agreements so they sign once instead of opening separate emails for each car.

What you will accomplish

You will send one signing experience when a customer needs the same agreement for more than one vehicle—for example, two cars going into storage at the same time.

The customer receives a single email, reviews each agreement, and signs once. Your team still gets a separate completed contract for each vehicle on the customer record.

When to use a bundled signing link

  • One owner is storing two or more vehicles and needs the same storage agreement for each.
  • You want the customer to sign everything in one sitting instead of several emails.
  • Each vehicle already exists on the customer record in Contacts.

Before you start

  • The customer record lists every vehicle that should be on the agreements.
  • You have an active contract template with vehicle fields (year, make, model, VIN, and so on).
  • The customer's email on the record is correct—the bundled link goes there.
  • You tested the template once with Create a contract template.

Step 1: Open the customer and start a contract

  1. Open the customer record

Go to Contacts and open the customer who owns the vehicles.

Why this matters: Bundling only works when every car is already on this customer's record—not on a different family member's profile.

  2. Scroll to Documents & Contracts

Find the Documents & Contracts card on the customer page.

  3. Click New Document, then Contract

Click New Document, then choose Contract.

Expected result: A window opens where you pick which agreement template to use.

  4. Select the template

Click your storage or service agreement—for example Car Storage Agreement.

Expected result: The form moves to the Contract Details step.

Step 2: Select every vehicle for the bundle

This is the most important step. Checking more than one vehicle tells the app to send one email instead of several.

  1. Find Associated Vehicles

On the Contract Details screen, look for a list of the customer's vehicles. Each row has a checkbox on the left.

  2. Check every vehicle that needs this agreement

Check every vehicle that should receive its own copy of the agreement. Leave unchecked any car that should not be on this bundle.

Why this matters: Each checked car gets its own agreement PDF after signing—but the customer only goes through signing once.

  3. Confirm the vehicle count

Near the list, look for a count such as 2 vehicles selected. You may also see a short note that multiple selections create one signing experience (one email, one link).

Expected result: The count matches how many cars the customer is storing under this agreement.

When two or more vehicles are checked, the screen confirms the customer will sign once for all selected cars.

Step 3: Fill team fields and sign (if required)

Some templates ask your team to enter fees, dates, or notes before the customer receives the link. Others require a facility signature first.

  1. Complete any required team fields

Fill in fields marked with an asterisk (*), such as annual storage cost or payment due date. Then click Continue.

Why this matters: Blank required fields can block you from sending—or leave blank spots on the customer's PDF.

  2. Draw your team signature (if asked)

If the template requires a facility signature, a Team Signature screen appears. Draw your signature and initials on the canvas, then click Save Signature.

Expected result: Your signature preview appears before you continue.

  3. Click Continue

Move to the final review screen.

For more detail on team signatures, see Send a contract for signature.

Step 4: Review and send the bundle

  1. Add a title your team will recognize

Example: Storage agreements — Morgan fleet (2 vehicles).

This helps when you search the customer record later.

  2. Read the summary

Confirm the customer name, email, and vehicle list look correct.

  3. Click Confirm & Send

On the final screen, click Confirm & Send (or Send).

Expected result: The customer receives one email with a signing link that covers all selected vehicles.

Step 5: Confirm on the customer record

  1. Stay on the customer page

After sending, scroll back to Documents & Contracts.

  2. Look for one card per vehicle

You should see one contract card per vehicle, often grouped as part of the same bundle. Status may show Sent until the customer signs.

Expected result: The header might read something like 1 document, 2 contracts (or more)—one row per car, all tied to this send.

After you send, each vehicle gets its own contract card. Status badges such as **Sent** or **Completed** tell you what to do next.

What the customer experiences

  • They open one email and one browser link.
  • They review each agreement (often one section per vehicle).
  • On a bundled signing page, they may see Sign once for all N contracts and Sign All N Contract(s) after reviewing every vehicle section.
  • They sign and initial where required for the whole bundle.
  • When finished, each vehicle's agreement shows as completed on the customer record for your team.

Customers still sign in the browser—bundling only reduces how many separate emails they receive.

What success looks like

  • Each selected vehicle has its own contract on the customer record.
  • Statuses move to Signed or Completed for every vehicle in the bundle.
  • Your team can download a signed PDF per vehicle from Review signed contracts and document history.
  • The customer confirms they only needed to complete signing once.
