Connect HubSpot
Sign in with HubSpot to keep facility customers in sync. Payments are not required.
HubSpot stays the sales and marketing CRM. Car Storage Software stays the operations system for vehicles, parking, appointments, and walkthroughs. The integration matches people who are already facility customers or qualified ops leads — it does not import every HubSpot contact.
This lives under Settings > Integrations. Payments and Stripe are not required.
What you will accomplish
- Enable HubSpot from Settings → Integrations.
- Sign in with HubSpot and approve the connection.
- Choose which HubSpot lifecycle stages (and optional list) can create CSS customers.
- Open a matched contact in HubSpot and confirm the CSS card shows vehicles and the next appointment.
Before you start
- You need the Customers permission to turn HubSpot on and connect it.
- You need the Schedule permission to open Settings > Integrations.
- You have a HubSpot account that can install a public OAuth app.
Connect HubSpot
- Open Integrations
Go to Settings > Integrations and click HubSpot.
- Enable the integration
Turn on Enable this integration. Payments do not need to be on.
- Sign in with HubSpot
Click Sign in with HubSpot and approve the requested scopes. CSS never asks you to paste an API key.
- Set the inbound gate
Keep the default stages (Opportunity, Customer, Evangelist) or add an optional HubSpot list. Newsletter subscribers stay in HubSpot unless they qualify or someone clicks Create in CSS on the contact card.
What syncs
Matched people go both ways. CSS writes name, email, phone, company, relationship stage, location, and vehicle count onto the HubSpot contact. Operational notes (new customer, appointment booked, drop-off, walkthrough, invoice paid when billing is on) land as HubSpot notes.
CSS does not create a customer for every HubSpot contact. A contact is created only when they match an existing person by email or phone, they sit on an allowed lifecycle stage or list, or a teammate sends them over from the HubSpot card.
Payments
HubSpot works whether or not payments are enabled. If Stripe is off, the contact card hides invoices and paid-invoice notes are skipped. Connecting Stripe later does not require reconnecting HubSpot.
Confirm it worked
- The HubSpot card shows Connected.
- Editing a CSS customer updates the matching HubSpot contact.
- A qualifying HubSpot contact appears as a CSS customer, or you can create one from the card.
